The Cotton Club’s POP UP season at the Andermatt mountain resort for 2023/2024 was an incredible experience, showcasing our ability to embrace winter conditions just as we do with our summer operations in the Mediterranean.
With a personal passion for snow so cold that it burns, we are filled with excitement for this opportunity to create a COTTON LIFESTYLE winter destination with the potential to complement our business as an all-year enterprise and an offer to our clients to follow us from the Mediterranean to the Mountain as the season changes.
We introduced a stunning glass dome experience on our expansive terrace, welcoming guests during regular hours and hosting large events beneath the stars at night.
Looking ahead to the 2024/2025 season, Cotton Club will not be featuring a POP UP in the Alps. Instead, we are in discussions to establish a long-term, fixed operation at a new historic Alpine destination, set to launch in the 2025/2026 season.
James Bond came to Andermatt first – the famous chase on the Furka Pass in “Goldfinger” was filmed here in 1964 – but remarkably, the beauty and unrivalled development potential of Andermatt as an upmarket winter destination has stayed a local secret.
Located in equal distance and easy reach from Lugano, Luzern, Bern and Zürich, Andermatt is at the center of the Saint-Gotthard Massif and the historical center cross of north-south and east-west traverses of Switzerland.
Sitting at 1.437 meters above sea level with the largest amount of snow in Switzerland, the charming, historic village offers easy access to the Gemsstock ski area with a chairlift also linking the village with Nätschen’s gentler slopes making the destination eminently suitable for families and advanced skiers as well as free-riders.
We are excited to announce our new location soon and can’t wait to reunite with our Cotton Winter Team in the snowy landscape.
